Each year, the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund (DVLF) provides critical funding to organizations working on the front lines to address the emerging needs of the region’s LGBTQ+ community. Our grants support a wide range of areas, including legal and civil rights, arts and culture, education and the humanities, and health and social services. Funding is directed to organizations serving Philadelphia and Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and New Castle County, Delaware. Applications are welcomed from both established institutions and smaller grassroots organizations.

Grants are awarded through our endowment at The Philadelphia Foundation, as well as through general fundraising efforts and partnerships with other philanthropic groups and individuals. While DVLF supports a broad spectrum of organizations, funding priorities may at times be focused to align with specific partnership opportunities and to address the most pressing needs of the LGBTQ+ community.
