Give back this holiday season during the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund’s annual TOY event. One of the best LGBT holiday parties in Philadelphia, this year, the celebration heads to the Top of the Tower, the perfect place to celebrate the 10th anniversary of helping the community. The annual charity event makes the holidays brighter for kids in need. The Delaware Valley Legacy Fund throws one of the most popular social events of the holiday season — TOY. This year, it celebrates its 10th anniversary at Top of the Tower, offering stunning views of Center City from the 51st floor. Back in 2007, it began as a small holiday party for friends organized by a DVLF volunteer. “It was so successful that it grew into TOY as we know it,” says Executive Director, Samantha Giusti. Event benefits children at CHOP and Action Wellness The annual holiday party, TOY, is back for its 10th year on Dec. 10. The event is run by Delaware Valley Legacy Fund, which serves the Greater Philadelphia LGBTQ community through philanthropy. Tickets for the event, as well as a recommended toy donation at the party, help change the lives of children at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and those served by Action Wellness (formerly ActionAIDS).
