Gloria Casarez is director of LGBT Affairs for the City of Philadelphia where she advises the Mayor on areas relating to LGBT communities and works to develop priorities for the City on issues including public safety, education, economic development, civil rights, and health and City services. For more than 18 years, she has worked with LGBT youth, on anti-poverty issues including welfare rights and homelessness, HIV/AIDS, and LGBT community organizing. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bread and Roses Community Fund.

The Delaware Valley Legacy Fund's mission is to raise the permanent endowment for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex (LGBTI), and straight-allied communities.
DVLF supports community organizations through grants, marketing, fundraising, technical assistance and planned giving trainings.
