The Professional Advisors Network of DVLF is a group of financial advisors, attorneys, estate planners, insurance, real estate, and accounting professionals who provide services to the LGBT and allied communities.  The Professional Advisors Council is the faculty who volunteer their time to provide free legal and financial education to community members.  For a complete list of the faculty who serve on the Professional Advisors Council, download the DVLF Professional Resource Guide above.  These professionals are expert advisers that can advise you and your loved ones about your family's legal and financial plans.

Musician Kelly Ricketts is one of the individuals who sought advice from members of DVLF's Professional Advisors Network when she was planning to marry her partner in New Jersey. Kelly was introduced to DVLF when she was entertaining at a DVLF Legacy Initiative event. Read Kelly's story here. And listen to Kelly's music here!

Platinum Awards [Download the nomination form]
The Delaware Valley Legacy Fund (“DVLF”) Platinum Awards are given annually to a trusted financial or legal advisor to the LGBT community in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.  The Platinum Award – one of the organization’s highest honors – is dedicated to recognizing a financial or legal advisor who has encouraged a client or family member to make some form of charitable gift or bequest through DVLF.  In addition, advisors that publicly acknowledge that they have made a charitable gift to the LGBT community through DVLF are also eligible for the Platinum Awards.

Platinum Award recipients are financial, legal, insurance, mortgage, tax, accounting, or real estate advisors who have mentioned DVLF to their clients as one of the options available to them.  The Platinum Award recognizes advisors who have encouraged a client to include DVLF in their estate plan within the bundle of options they regularly present to clients.  Award recipients become permanent members of the Platinum Club, DVLF’s own way of honoring all those who have committed to charitable giving.

DVLF seeks nominations for the Platinum Award at all times of the year.  Members of the community are asked to notify DVLF of a financial advisor or lawyer who has committed to presenting DVLF to clients.  Community members are also encouraged to nominate themselves and to make DVLF aware of any advisors who regularly mention   the option of charitable giving through DVLF through a charitable gift, trust, or other bequest.   Nominations are made by sending an email to DVLF (info@dvlf.org) or by calling 215.563.6417, extension 117.

The Platinum Club is a permanent membership group of all past Platinum Award Winners.  As the group is in its early formative period, activities are currently limited to the annual event and recognition on DVLF materials and website.  However, the activities may grow as the club grows in size and scope.
