What is DVLF?  DVLF Builds Community by Advancing Philanthropy

Ways to Donate

Thank YOU for Your Support!

The Delaware Valley Legacy Fund values the many generous donations from people like you throughout the country.  Working together, we can make a lasting and meaningful investment in the future of our entire community.

Annual donors contribute mightily to our ability to engage in endowment building for the future as well as help fund our ongoing grantmaking efforts.  Donors who commit to annual gifts of at least $1,000 are recognized through their membership in the Barbara Gittings Circle of Donors and receive more frequent communication about our initiatives and complimentary tickets to a major fundraising event of their choice during the year.  Barbara Gittings was a founding mother of the modern gay civil rights movement and a founding Board Member of the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund.

Bequest gifts are usually the most significant gifts of our lifetime and form the backbone of our endowment at The Philadelphia Foundation.  We recognize and thank community members who have already completed estate plans which include bequest gifts to DVLF through membership in the Legacy Society.  In the past 2 years, over 40 people have notified us of their bequest provisions and their combined future gifts are estimated to value over $8 million.  We greatly appreciate the leadership of Stephen Glassman as Chair of the Legacy Society.
